Economic and Financial Data Base for Bankers
The main objective of this publication is to
provide carefully selected information about the important indicators
pertaining to Kuwait, GCC and the World in one place for the Kuwaiti bankers.
The information is expected to be useful for planning and research in banks. It
is also useful for public policy, research, teaching and training. The First
Part of this publication, concentrates on Kuwait, it provides a large set of
data about the demography, labor force, different types of economic and
financial indicators of the Kuwaiti economy, finance, banking, trade, and many
other domestic indicators, which could be of special interest and significance
to the banks. The Second Part provides a variety of financial and economic
indicators of every individual country in the GCC. The Third Part takes us to
the international markets, it presents a group of diversified statistics that
is published daily or weekly or monthly concerning the world's major financial
markets and economies. A summary of major economic indicators of the countries
that deal intensively with Kuwait is also provided in this section. The Fourth
Part contains major statistics of the oil market conditions and prices, in
addition to some other indicators of the OPEC.
So far, Fourteenth editions were released under this series. The
latest issue is for the year 2007.
