In the ever-changing retail banking environment the role of the Bank Manager is
creitical in ensuring the success of the bank - its reputation in the market
place and profitable growth.
Retail Bank Branch Management is a very demanding job with many
responsibilities and requiring many competencies for success.
Within Kuwait, the banking environment is extremely competitive and only the best managers will succeed. There is also increasing competition with the opening of the banking sector to international competition. It is therefore essential that highly trained and motivated staff is appointed as Branch Managers.
As part of its continuous commitment to develop Branch Managers, the IBS is pleased to offer the ' Certified Bank Branch Manager” Program, which is accredited by ifs School of Finance (Incorporated by Royal Charter), UK.
It is therefore essential that highly trained and motivated
staff is appointed Branch Managers.
After extensive research both within Kuwait and internationally
this Program has been prepared to outline a multi-faceted training approach
that will lead to the awarding of a Certified Bank Branch Manager©.

To assist participants gain and enhance those key
competencis (Knowledge, skills and attitude) which will enable them to fulfill
the role of a retail banking Branch Manager.

To achive the first Objective successful participants will be required to
demonstrate that they have acquired and are able to satisfactorily utilize the

| PRE-REQUISITES |
| Those attending the Program must:
|

Have worked in banking for at least 3 years
|
 |
Hold a minimum of University Bachlors qualification
|
 |
Speak and write fluent English
|
 |
Be recommended by their bank to attend
|

| TIMINGS |
 |
The Modules will be conducted at the Institute of Banking Studies. Programs will be held from 8:00 am to 3.00 pm, Sunday through Thursday
|

| EXAMS |
 |
This Program has 3 Modules consisting of 9 courses and 19 e-learning courses. Each Program will be subjected to examination. The participant must obtain a minimum of 70% mark as an overall for each Module to advance to the next Module. There will be no re-sits, make up Exams, etc.

ATTENDANCE: Attendance at every session is a pre-requisite of Certificate issue
|
| |
REPORTS: Punctuality, participation, quality of input, initiative, teamwork etc. will, where appropriate, be reported upon
|
| |
LANGUAGE: All Modules will be presented in English
|
| |
Overall responsibility and final decisions will be solely with the Institute of Banking Studies
